Polyester cord construction, neoprene jacket, IS 2494 certified. Five classical sections, wedge profiles, hexagonal, FHP, and agricultural variants — 2,000+ sizes in inventory.
Power enters at the driver pulley and flows through the tight side (T₁) to the driven pulley. The slack side (T₂) returns under lower tension. Net power transmitted is proportional to (T₁ − T₂). The trapezoidal cross-section wedges into the groove under load, amplifying the normal force and grip — without requiring proportionally higher initial belt tension. Speed ratio is governed by the pulley diameter ratio.
Every Beltone V-belt is built from four precision-engineered layers. Each material is selected for its contribution to adhesion, load distribution, friction resistance, and environmental durability.
Typical technical specifications for classical V-belts based on IS 2494 / ISO 4184 and industry norms. Length ranges and belt weights are indicative values.
