Our Story

BUILT TO FILL A GAP GENERIC OILS COULDN'T CLOSE

Banesto Products Pvt Ltd was established in 1991, with a single, sharply defined purpose: to fill a vital gap that existed in industry at the time. Industries were limited to generic, commodity-grade oils that failed under demanding operating conditions — extreme heat, heavy shock loads, water ingress, and the unrelenting duty cycles of modern manufacturing.

We introduced engineered formulations — greases selected by thickener family, base oil type, and ISO VG grade rather than by catalogue number. Lubricants built around ASTM test data, DN factors, and EHD film thickness calculations rather than price per drum. The response from industry was immediate.

What started as a modest blending and manufacturing unit has grown into a widely recognized brand with three proprietary product lines, over 852 SKUs, and a distribution network spanning 1,400+ dealers — covering sectors from automotive and agriculture to defence, oilfield, food processing, and aerospace.

Our engineering philosophy has not changed: every product we make is intended to be traceable to a performance rationale — a dropping point, a weld load, a viscosity index, a compatibility matrix. We believe that is the only honest way to sell lubricants.
